Sarina Russo Apprenticeship Services is a Australian Apprenticeships Centre (an Australian Government funded initiative) with offices located throughout Queensland and Victoria. We're a one stop shop for all your Australian Apprenticeships needs, providing free services, advice and assistance to all employers, job seekers, trainees, apprentices and other interested parties.

Our FREE services:

• Expert advice on all your Apprenticeship / Traineeship options
• Find the right type of training / training provider for your business
• Assist with completing and lodging all the necessary paperwork
• Workplace visits for training and employment assistance
• Match businesses with suitable apprentices / trainees
• Payment of employer incentives (eligibility criteria apply)
• Free 24 hour Australian Apprenticeships hotline
• Help organise your training and register your training agreement
• Assist apprentices / trainees with wages, allowances and entitlements
  
  

'Australian Apprenticeships' is a term that covers both Apprenticeships and Traineeships. They are very similar, both offer training on-the-job, off-the-job or a combination of both and lead to an nationally recognised and accredited qualification. The main differences are:

• Apprenticeships
  Trade based occupations, completed over 3 or 4 years full-time
  (eg. mechanic, hairdresser, chef, carpenter, brick layer)
  
  
• Traineeships
  All non-trade based occupations, completed over 1 or 2 years full / part time
  (eg. real estate, finance, retail, multimedia, local government)
