Scan the ads vertically
Use a highlighter pen to identify prospective jobs
Write the name of the newspaper and date of the ad on the ad itself eg The Age, the Herald Sun bullet Cut out your selections and paste them onto A4 paper and keep in plastic envelopes. Keep your collection for:
- Motivation
- Knowledge of how many jobs are available to you
- Knowledge of where jobs are happening
- Gathering information on skills, qualities and level of ability required by employers
