10 Tips for Your New Job

No matter your education or experience background, the advice for starting work is always the same. Here are 10 tips to help you succeed in any workplace...

Writing a Targeted Resume

Cookie-cutter resumes are a thing of the past. To stand out from the crowd, it’s important your resume answers the recruiter’s major question; 'How will I benefit from employing this person?'

Creating cultural connections

FIRST NATIONS SUPPORT

To create a more culturally sensitive path to employment, we attract and recruit First Nations leaders to become personal mentors to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment program participants.

Our First Nations servicing team provides help and guidance with any issues that might impact work, training and employment, including family and non-work-related matters. They also offer Cross Cultural training to employers and their staff. This helps to build a better understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture and provide a culturally safe workplace for First Nations employees.

Would you like to help others in your community?

The Sarina Russo Group strives to employ a diverse workforce reflective of the community and to provide quality tailored education, training and employment programs and services to benefit our students, candidates and employers.

We’re so proud to have had our Reconciliation Action Plan formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia. We look forward to creating and implementing our second Reconciliation Action Plan and sharing our success stories with Reconciliation Australia and the wider Australian community.

Introduced as part of our first reconciliation plan, Sarina Russo Job Access prominently displays our story depicted in artwork painted by Indigenous artist, Goompi Ugerabah.  We invite you to watch Goompi present his artistic interpretation of the Sarina Russo Group journey.

FIVE-STAR REVIEW

As a strong indigenous Woman and a single parent of two young boys. I have been working with Sarina Russo for over 3yrs now and i have accomplished so much from getting back into work and support through every step having everything needed to getting a job or qualification. Remembering back to when i first engaged I found it hard to communicate and gave up easy, starting with Monica to now Kasie I have been given nothing but the best support, with non judgement, from all staff, they encouraged me to keep pushing through with every job and course i went for. I look at how far i have come and what i have achieved i feel proud i now can provide for my family. I would like to say to all staff even through the good and bad days you all stayed professional and did what you could to provide the best outcomes for me. I Now Feel More Confident & READY TO GET THAT JOB. So I'll See You All At The Top.
